Retiring the fishing pole...

That's right folks. After some rather unsuccessful "dates" I've finally landed myself a pretty great catch. Things are very uncomplicated with this one and I love that. I love that I don't have to worry about the things I had to worry about with anybody else. I love that I can just be my usual goofy, sarcastic, silly self and he still wants to be with me. I love that he lets me talk his ear off and asks questions so that he can fully understand me and my stories. I love that he tells me I'm beautiful.

So the fishing continues....

I think I'm starting to learn some valuable lessons when it comes to fishing. The last fish I hooked turned out to be pretty awesome. We hit it off right from the get go and spent three great days together that seemed like months. But...I rushed things a little and he was still confused on what it is he wants exactly so we have ended things.


The lesson I've learned from this one is not to count my eggs before they hatch. Maybe things will swing back around....maybe not.

I have several other fish nibbling so we'll see what happens with those.

Switched the bait...

Well, of course, the last fish I thought I hooked turned out to be a throw back. You know, I put it out there that I have a child from the get go because he is #1 on my priority list. You would think that if me having a child was an issue he wouldn't have talked to me in the first place. Oh well. At least I found out before things got too serious.


I've added some new photos to my profile and I can report that they have gotten some very positive feed back. As a matter of fact I have a date with a new fish tomorrow. Cross fingers that this one doesn't end up a throw back.
